In this class, Colorado grower Donny Chilo highlights the best fruits, nuts & berries for our growing area!

Take the guess work out of planning your home orchard. Donny presents the best varieties that are tried and true for the Pikes Peak region and southern Colorado, including apples, pears, plums, cherries, peaches, nuts and berries. All aspects of growing a home orchard are discussed including plant selection, water requirements and disease resistance. A wealth of information will be gained by attending this informative class.

Fruit trees and berry bushes can be tricky to grow in our area, and big box stores often stock varieties that aren’t acclimated to Colorado. Donny has 20 years of growing experience and will suggest the best varieties for your property. After class, you can place your order for fruit trees, berry bushes and nut trees that will be delivered to Buckley’s Homestead Supply in April. A non-refundable deposit is required for all orders (cash or check only).

Class fee is $10 per person.
Call to make payment and reserve your seat; (719) 358-8510.
