Make your own mushroom grow kit using obtainable sources to fruit gourmet mushrooms in a single-use vessel. Organic byproducts like coffee grounds and materials like cardboard are often perceived as waste but they are actually foods mushrooms can be produced from.

You'll also be able to make and take home your own spawn to inoculate other substrates. These methods close loops by "repurposing" waste and thereby reducing what might otherwise be sent to the landfill; are easy to repeat at home and contribute to one's food security.

Class fee is $30.00 per person.
